Corporate Burnout Workshop

Yoga therapy-based workshops for teams navigating burnout and occupational stress. Evidence-informed. Grounded in research. Practical tools your team can use the same day.

The Problem with Most Wellbeing Programmes

Surface relief is not recovery

Most corporate wellbeing programmes offer short-term relief through mindfulness apps, one-off meditation sessions, or gym subsidies. These can reduce acute stress in the moment. They do not address the physiological and psychological patterns that allow burnout to accumulate over months or years.

Burnout is a depletion of the nervous system. It builds through sustained overload, reduced recovery capacity, and a gradual disconnection from the body's signals. Addressing it requires structured intervention at those levels — not wellness theatre.

Yoga therapy workshops at Mindful Yogis are built on this understanding. They combine education on the mechanisms of burnout with practical body-based tools and a clear framework participants can return to independently. The aim is not a pleasant afternoon. It is meaningful, lasting change in how a team relates to stress and recovery.

Evidence Base

Grounded in original research

Karthikeyan's MSc thesis — “Impact of Online Yoga on Symptoms of Burnout among Adults in the Netherlands” — studied 60 participants over 50 days. The intervention group showed significant reductions in burnout parameters and improved sleep quality.

This is the research basis for the approach used in workshops. Not borrowed from other practitioners. Not generic wellness content.

Common questions

How long is a workshop?

Workshops typically run between 90 minutes and a full day, depending on the scope and depth requested. Multi-session formats are available for organisations that want sustained support over weeks or months.

Is the workshop delivered online or in-person?

Both options are available. Online delivery works well for distributed teams. In-person workshops are available within the Netherlands and for travel within Europe.

How many participants can attend?

Workshops can accommodate small leadership teams or larger groups. Format and depth are adapted accordingly. Very large groups are split into sessions to maintain quality of interaction.

Will participants need yoga experience or equipment?

No experience is required. Practices are adapted to a workplace context and require no special equipment or clothing. A chair and some floor space is sufficient.
