Low mood is not a character flaw or a failure of attitude. It is a pattern rooted in depletion. Rediscover Joy is an 8-week, cohort-based online yoga therapy program designed to help you understand the patterns underlying persistent low mood, the kind that flattens things you used to enjoy and makes ordinary days feel heavier than they should, and develop practical, sustainable tools to cultivate greater lightness, clarity, and wellbeing.
Persistent low mood is often rooted in accumulated stress, depleted energy, habitual thought patterns, and a nervous system that has learned to default toward contraction. This program works with those underlying patterns directly, through structured therapeutic practice rather than surface-level positivity or quick fixes.

Before the first live session, you will complete an intake form and a short baseline self-assessment. During Week 1, I meet with you individually to understand the emotional and physical patterns underlying your low mood and shape a practice around them. A second individual consultation in Week 5 allows me to review what is opening and refine the practice for the weeks ahead. The group holds a shared intention. Your practice meets you where you are.
How the programme works
Low mood is often treated as a mental problem requiring mental solutions. Rediscover Joy starts differently — with the body. Before working with thought patterns and emotional habits, the first weeks focus on restoring physical energy and establishing a consistent practice rhythm. That foundation is what makes the later work possible. As energy and presence begin to return, the program opens the space between what you feel and how you respond.
- 01Weeks 1 and 2 — Foundation: establishing a grounded daily routine and understanding low mood as a pattern of depletion and contraction that shifts when addressed at the root
- 02Weeks 3 and 4 — Recognition: exploring how depletion and withdrawal sustain low mood, and restoring connection with the body and breath
- 03Weeks 5 and 6 — Regulation: working with habitual patterns of contraction, training attention, and building practices that gradually restore energy and presence
- 04Weeks 7 and 8 — Integration: cultivating a more spacious relationship with emotional life and building a practice that continues beyond the program

What you will have by the end
The aim is not to remove all difficulty. It is to build your capacity to face it steadily, without being overwhelmed by it.
