This privacy notice explains how Mindful Yogis (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), as a data controller, may collect, use, share and protect information that we obtain about you directly or indirectly in accordance with applicable data privacy laws.

Where you use our services, or your personal data is processed in connection with such services, and we control the purpose for which such personal data is processed, we will be the data controller of such information.

Mindful Yogis is registered in The Netherlands with KVK number 67629016.

Personal data means any information capable of identifying an individual. It does not include anonymized data. We process certain types of personal data about you as follows:

• Contact Data — your email address and telephone numbers.
• Identity Data — your first name, last name, title, and any information you voluntarily provide when contacting us or registering for a program.
• Marketing and Communications Data — your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us and your communication preferences.
• Profile Data — your interests, preferences, feedback, and survey responses.
• Technical Data — your internet protocol address, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system, and other technology on the devices you use to access this site.
• Usage Data — information about how you use our website, products, and services.

Note on payments: All program bookings and payments are handled through our third-party platform, HeyMarvelous. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card or bank account details directly.

We collect data about you through the following methods:

Direct interactions: You provide data by filling in forms on our site or by communicating with us by email or otherwise, including when you register for a program, subscribe to our newsletter or email list, request resources or marketing to be sent to you, or give us feedback.

Email marketing: If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource, your contact data is stored and managed using MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Automated technologies: As you use our site, we automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions, and usage patterns. We collect this data using cookies and similar technologies. Please see the Cookie Policy section below for further details.

Third-party analytics providers: We receive Technical Data from analytics providers such as Google, based outside the EU, and where applicable from advertising networks. These providers may be based outside the European Economic Area.

We will only use your personal data when legally permitted. The most common uses of your personal data are:

• Where we need to perform the contract between us.
• Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
• Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Generally, we do not rely on consent as a legal ground for processing your personal data, other than in relation to sending marketing communications to you via email. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by emailing us at info@mindful-yogis.com.

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have:

• Requested information from us or registered for a program; or
• Provided us with your details when registering for a promotion or free resource;

and, in each case, where you have opted in to continue receiving that marketing.

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing us at info@mindful-yogis.com.

We may share your personal data with the following parties:

• Service providers who provide IT and system administration services, including our email marketing platform (MailerLite) and our program booking platform (HeyMarvelous).
• Professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors, and insurers who provide consultancy, legal, insurance, and accounting services.

Countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) do not always offer the same level of protection to your personal data, so European law has restricted transfers of personal data outside the EEA unless the transfer meets certain criteria.

Some of our third-party service providers are based outside the EEA. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we do so using one of the following safeguards:
